A little while ago I attended the Burt’s Bees South Africa launch at the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town. The story of how the brand started is very inspiring and sweet as it began in Maine about 30 years ago. Burt, the actual Beekeeper was happily selling honey from the back of his truck however, fate had other ideas for the bearded hero when he met Roxanne Quimby .
